The assembly came quickly. The plug was not the same 2 prong plug that was on the original one that is 25 years old. While trying to splice the 2 prong plug from the old unit to the new unit one of wires of the new fan came outvery easily and the fan is no longer usable. Going to have to return it.

After not finding what I needed from the big box stores close by, I found exactly what I needed from USI. Considering I did not have a manufacturer or part number, the description & photo displayed on the Universal website were exact and the assembly fit perfectly.
Replaced old fan motor with this item. Works perfectly. Keep in mind my existing exhaust fan is old so I had to utilize that mounting bracket to fit in the existing housing. Easy swap no problem. Great price. Will definitely buy from again.

My 2 bathroom fans are 28 years old and failing. I had taken them out and cleaned & lubricated them thinking they would work like new. This didn't work for long, so I decided to see if I could match them up with a new fan motor. I bought just 1 as a test to see how it would do. Much to my surprise it fit perfectly! All I did was cut off the plug on the end and installed the plug from my original fan assembly! I was so thrilled that I ordered 2 more! One for the other bathroom, and 1 to have as a spare for future needs! I am very happy with these fans!
