I am replacing all of our smoke alarms with the 2-in-1 Smoke and Fire Alarm. These will allow us to rest easy knowing the batteries can't be removed and they will sense both smoke and fire.
As a landlord I appreciate the sealed battery. Less chance of someone removing the battery to use in something else. I am very satisfied with the quality of the product and I will certainly purchase this product again when needed.
I bought these to bring our home up to the standards set for our home before we put it on the market. Liked that I could get a muti-pack of 6 at a great price. I hope the new owners will have a safer place to live with the 2 types of smoke detection.
Easy to install over existing mounting holes from my old smoke detectors. This had easy to follow directions. I like that it includes both photoelectric and ionization fire detectors. I have 5 of these installed,

Was smelling smoke in my unit so I called local fire dept. to check it out. Turned out, my hvac needed replacing and while firemen were here, they checked out my smoke alarm & decided I needed a better, newer one….and free of charge they installed this one and suggested buying an additional smoke alarm for my bedroom, so I purchased this one the next day! Used this style to cover areas in my home that were not already hardwired. Installed easily with minimal tools. 6 months and no problems. Time will tell.
It was difficult finding a 2-in-1 smoke and fire alarm in the stores where I live to replace my 10 year old unit. So I decided to go on line to search but the reviews of the few I found were poor. And then I found UI. The reviews on this detector were outstanding. I was a little leery because of the low price compared to the competition, but I thought I would take a chance. The unit shipped and arrived just days after ordering it. It was very easy to install and looks nice on the wall. I hope I never have to give a review of its effectiveness in a fire. I will order the hard-wire version in a few years to preplace my other fire alarm. I am very satisfies with this unit.

It is too early to give this product a 5 talk to me in 2030. But they seem to be what they advertised. They were easy to install and if they cut out the chirping in the middle of the night for the next 10 years, they will deserve a 10 rating.
I couldn't find a better deal on the internet than this for a 2 in 1 smoke/fire alarm with 10 year battery. I bought 4 and all are working fine.
It took me less than 2 min per unit to install. Impressed with the quality and design. I am also looking forward to not having to find a chirping smoke detector in the middle of the night for the next 10 years!
The alarm came very quickly. It was to replace the alarm in our used travel trailer we recently purchased. I was pleased to discover the unit has a 10 year battery. I didn't know something like that existed.

Once I received all three alarms it only took about two to three minutes per unit to install them on the wall. Very easy. I like the 10 year sealed battery.
