I just received my second order of dual smoke/ fire detectors from US Electric. My first batch (7) lasted all of ten years problem free. I have used this detector in a wired circuit with the MIC1509S CO model detector. They have shown themselves to work well over time. Even Consumer Reports rated the MI106S better than many other brands and models. The customer support and purchasing ability is also helpful.
